Develop a contest for RBC Insurance to encourage group plan members to get a home or auto insurance quote.
Since the only guideline given was a prizing budget, and a goal to increase home and auto quotes and generate leads, we decided to focus on the fact that it only takes 10 minutes to complete a quote. After developing the catchy contest name, Take 10 and Win, we decided to channel inspiration from big ticket lotteries for our contest logo. We developed a prizing scheme that included a $10,000 grand prize as well as $500 prizes for each participating organization to increase the individual odds. Then we developed a letter and promotional materials, including posters and payroll inserts, for the HR Managers of the participating organizations.
